So 2011 has been and gone, and we enter into 2012 in anticipation for what lies ahead in the youthwork @ Trinity.  Our vision for 2012 is that we ALL seek to be BRIDGE BUILDERS, CULTURE SHAKERS and DISCIPLE MAKERS as a community of believers seeking to live for King Jesus and extend His Kingdom in this place in these days.

So are you up for the challenge as we journey into a new year together?  If you’ve been connected to the youthwork at Trinity at some stage in the past but have become disconnected why not make 2012 the year when you RE-CONNECT with us and come along to some of the connection points listed below.  If you’ve been coming along, we look forward to seeing you again, and why not make 2012 the year where you CONNECT some of your friends into the events and activities planned for 2012.  And if you haven’t been about yet this year, it would be great to welcome you and get to know you in the incoming year.

Keep checking the website , subscribe to it’s RSS feed to get regular updates, like and interact with our facebook page, and follow our tweets on twitter.

reIGNITE Day of Prayer

Join us as we seek to call out to God for this land, this nation, this generation in prayer.

8AM – 8PM : An open space, call in at any time, for any amount of time, pause from your busy schedule, step away from a noisy world and take a moment to spend some time with God in prayer / reflection.

8PM – 10PM : A formal time when we can come together corporately to bring our prayers to God as a body of believers, consisting of times of worship, directed readings and times for prayer in small groups.

10PM – 12PM : An informal time of contemporary praise, intersparsed with readings / reflections and creative prayer ideas to inspire us to pray, and give us opportunity to lift up our praises and prayers to God.

See the video reflection below of our reFUEL prayer weekend at the start of the year to get a feel of what to expect at this reIGNITE day of prayer.

TRUTH MATTERS

For the next few months at Breakfast in the Book we will be exploring a number of contemporary matters relevant to teenagers today, and examining them in the light of the truth of Scripture.  Looking at issues like relationships, sexuality, alcohol, clubbing, world religions and other topical issues through the lens of scripture, we seek to search for truth, navagating through the web of lies the world seeks to blind us with and arriving at the truth revealed in scripture.

Would be great if you would join us in the discussions as we journey through these issues together and explore why truth matters in a world of lies. So if you haven’t been along in a while, or haven’t been before we’s love to see you for Breakfast, 10AM on Sunday mornings @ Trinity Church Hall, or 10:30AM for discussion times in the Upper Room, finishing by 11:15 for church.
